A free, church-led after-school program focused on character development

Crossroads Kids Club is a church-led after-school program that uses Bible stories and lessons to teach character development and life skills. Through engaging activities such as music, crafts, games, and storytelling, children explore values like love, kindness, patience, and self-control in a fun, supportive environment. Our program is always free of charge and open to children from all backgrounds. We’ve partnered with public schools since 1999, providing a safe space where children can grow in confidence and develop healthy relationships.

Crossroads Kids Club is always free of charge. We want to serve all kinds of schools and families. There is no cost to schools, parents, or students.

Safety and belonging are at the heart of everything we do.

Crossroads Kids Club requires that all clubs maintain a secure environment by thoroughly screening, training, and supervising team members, who are committed to being excellent role models. We welcome students from all backgrounds, encouraging a sense of community and mutual respect. With a proven track record in public schools since 1999, Crossroads Kids Club offers a valuable, supportive space for children to learn, grow, and thrive after school.

Here’s what a typical club looks like:

  • Large group lesson (15-20 minutes)
  • Games (20-25 minutes)
  • Closing small group (25-30 minutes)

What Children Learn

Our curriculum takes children on a chronological journey through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. Along the way, they explore stories that teach character qualities like:

  • Love and joy

  • Peace and patience

  • Kindness and goodness

  • Gentleness and self-control
These character qualities (known as the fruit of the spirit in Christian teaching) help children develop healthy relationships and make positive choices.
  • Equal access
Crossroads Kids Club operates in accordance with all laws regarding the separation of church and state. When public schools allow community groups to use their facilities for educational and character-building activities, they must provide equal access without regard to religious or secular viewpoints.

Our clubs are open to all students, regardless of background or belief. Schools maintain their commitment to religious neutrality by offering equal access to all community groups.

  • Parents are primary
We believe parents are the most important influence in their children’s lives. While our program is based on Christian values and Bible stories, we respect that families come from diverse backgrounds and beliefs. Participation is always voluntary and free of charge. No child can join without explicit parental permission, and parents are welcome to visit and observe the club at any time. We’re committed to working alongside you to support your child’s character development in a way that respects your family’s values.
