Crossroads Kids Club

A Typical Day at Crossroads Kids Club

Are you wondering what happens at a typical Kids Club session? Well, come visit and see for yourself! Parents are always welcome to visit a Kids Club to observe, and the best way to see what we're all about is...well, to see for yourself.

Sometimes a club director will vary the schedule of a club to meet the needs of the group because each group is unique, but typically, this is how things will play out at a given Kids Club in 2009-2010:

30 minutes: G.A.S. Time (Games, Attendance, Snack)
10 minutes: The Briefing Room (Students are introduced to the day's mystery* in a large group session.)
20 minutes: Investigation Teams (Students work in small groups to start uncovering the day's mystery.)
30 minutes: Solving the Case (Students explain the answers they came up with in their "Investigation Teams"

* Our theme in the 2009-2010 school year is a detective theme. Students are presented with questions about God, life, etc. and they search for answers in the Bible discovering answers based on what they read and talked about in their "Investigation Teams."
