 Summer Camp!One of the most exciting part of Crossroads is going to camp at Expeditions Unlimited in Wisconsin! Each year we spend four nights at this outdoor adventure center. In 2010, we are going from June 21-25. Here’s what you can expect at camp this year: Exciting Activities: Our days at camp will be full of all sorts of exciting adventures. Activities include a day canoe trip on the Wisconsin River, swimming at Devil’s Lake Beach, crafts, rock climbing, and much more! Each camper is assigned to a “cabin group” of six-to-eight students with a cabin leader. This cabin group will participate in the activities as a team throughout the week, so students will learn the value of cooperation and teamwork. A Great Location: Expeditions Unlimited Adventure Center is located in Baraboo, Wisconsin, about three hours from Streamwood. It is across the street from Devil’s Lake State Park. Round trip transportation from select Kids Club schools is included in the price of camp. Expeditions Unlimited Adventure Center is in a scenic wooded area and makes the perfect location for Crossroads Kids Camp. Interesting Chapels: Crossroads Kids Camp is about relationships. New friendships between campers are formed, and old friendships are made stronger. The Good News of Jesus is about right relationships with God first and then with those around us. As a non-denominational Christian organization, Crossroads is committed to helping each student experience the joy of a right relationship with God and with others. For this reason, morning and evening chapels are an important part of camp. All this at a price you can afford! The cost for camp is just $60 for all students who have completed at least three service projects at Crossroads this year. Additionally, there is a $10 discount for those who register on April 27—making your cost only $50! Half the registration fee must be paid at the time of registration by cash, check, money order, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. This half is a non-refundable deposit. The second half is due by June 15. This price includes transportation to and from camp and all meals and activities at the camp. It does not include two meals on the road, snacks, or souvenirs. walk-in registration times. Walk-in registration is downstairs at Park Place
